    Information

Stone wall with enormous dimensions: Trollgarden is located in Fundingslandsheia, at an elevation of 750 meters above sea level. This unique moraine ridge stretches into the heathland as a two-kilometer-long stone wall, which in some places is up to 5-7 meters high.

Trollgarden curves from Kvivatnet lake and southward over the barren mountain in Fundingslandsheia, where it was formed as a lateral moraine after an ice glacier pushed forward about 9.700-9.900 years ago.

You can reach Trollgarden by hiking from Fundingsland over Kyrkjegardsheia. The hike takes about 7-8 hours round trip.
